Your Claude Code companion.
At your desk. And a little beyond.
› Build something that feels alive.
✳ Exploring your project…
Reading the little details.
Making room for the big idea.
› Ready when you are.
Claude would like to run your build.
npm run buildSample permission requestClaude does the coding. Buddy keeps your session in view, right by your Mac’s notch.
npm run buildYou have a life
outside the terminal.
Buddy keeps the little things close.
So you can stay with the big ones.
Meet Block. A little expression for every part of your session. Go ahead. Make a new friend.
Illustrations of the app’s states and expressions. “Listening” is a character expression, not microphone access.
Buddy gives the moments that need you a place of their own. Try a few of them.
Interactive Mac illustrations. No answers are sent and no commands are run. Plan review is Mac-only.
Built for the moments between
“working on it” and “over to you.”

See sessions, answer questions, review plans, and decide on permission requests. Buddy never makes an approval decision for you. You can explicitly choose an auto-accept-edits mode when approving a plan. No answer? Claude asks in the terminal as usual.
Step away and Buddy comes along on your iPhone. A notification shows what Claude wants; long-press it to answer a question or allow a short command, right there. Send Claude your next instruction from the phone, and it appears in the terminal as your own prompt. Everything travels through your own private iCloud, never through our servers.
Your Mac stays awake while Claude works and waits on you, then rests ten minutes after things go quiet. Each session on your phone shows its latest prompt and reply, so you always know where it stopped.
Claude Code does the coding. Buddy is the companion that keeps activity and decisions close. The scenes above are browser illustrations, not a live connection to your computer.
Claude Code is supported today. Codex and other agents are planned, but are not included yet. See the multi-agent roadmap.
Download Buddy for Mac below, open it, and it walks you through connecting Claude Code. It shows you the change to your Claude Code settings before writing anything, and keeps a backup. The iPhone companion is coming to the App Store; the source is open on GitHub. Read the installation guide.
No. The Mac app works on its own. The iPhone companion adds alerts, answers and messages for when you step away; it uses your private iCloud, signed in with the same Apple Account as your Mac. Read about the security model.
Bring a little company to your next coding session.
